Mark's good fortunes continue. Maybe he can put up 2008 Ryan Dempster numbers this year.

I know his pitch count number isn't high, but might be time to pull Buehrle. Put it in the hands of Dotel, Thornton, Linebrink and Jenks.

Great AB Alexei.

"EN TOA PARTE"

Alexei really is playing better. Nice to see. Apparently he just needs warm weather.

Dotel looked bad yesterday. Thornton and Linebrink should do it. I don't know if Buehrle should be pulled just yet. Give him one batter in the 7th and see what happens.

Let's get another run or two and get another inning out of him.

Great AB Alexei.

He's starting to make more adjustments at the plate, which is something he was great at last year.

He is doin ok.

He was hitting .450 with RISP a couple of weeks ago. Then he started grounding into double plays whenever we had 1st and 2nd. He's hitting .394 right now, which is still good. But he isn't as on the money as he was earlier in the year.

please re-read what you just typed and tell me how .394 is not well above expectations for Paulie after his last couple years.

but no, let's complain about everything.

I never said that .394 wasn't good. It's just that he hasn't been coming through as much lately.

Might be time to start warming up Thornton and Linebrink.

Buehrle certainly battled today. He can come out of it 7-1.

Heh, 12 hits in 7 IP, but I'll take it. Another great start from Mark. Nothing really hit hard off of him.

Christ, Brian didn't even square that one up and it flew to the track. He's seeing it well.

45 strikeouts now for Fields on the season.

Dotel gives one up. Bobby's got a one run cushion to work with.

We should have worn the camo jersey's today.

Wow. No words even needed for whatever the hell that was.
