Anyone know the last time the Sox didn't have a hitter with 100 RBIs?

2007 we didn't

Why is Cooper not getting any crap for Colon giving up all of these home runs? There are a lot of people on this board that make no sense. If the Sox offense is bad, its on the hitting coach. If they give up 6 runs in 5 innings, the pitching coach has nothing to do with it.

How about how great Masset looks now? MacDougal also has looked pretty damn good for the Nationals also.

My god, Lou Piniella takes about a year to get out of the dugout.

His gut is causing a lot of strain on the lower half of his jersey.

Oh, this argument again. Time to stop reading this thread.

Coop's shown he has the ability to make people better from his teachings. Who other then Q has shown a marked improvement under Walk?

2007, Thome led the team with 96.

Because we all know Colon has nothing left in the tank. Even Cy Young himself couldn't help him figure his s*** out.

Some interesting defense being made in the Cubs/Reds game. Poor Randy Wells.

f***ing Cooper.;

What about Danks?

I'm with you DA, ultimately these guys are hitting the way they are because of the types of hitters they are, and probably a bit of anxiety and doing too much at the plate. Intangible problems that a hitting coach has no remedy for

I'm all for Williams stepping down, however, as the players who are on the ML roster (outside of Beckham, who was a can't miss for whichever team grabbed him) are HIS players and scouted by HIS scouts

Ah, so this is Wes "The Walker" Whistler. I remember if from the minors, when he walked everybody, had s*** peripherals, but was called up anyway, because of his ERA.

Whisler is clearly not any good. That first out was a mirage, look at his AAA numbers and he had bad peripherals.

Yeah, Danks sucks hard this year.

But our bullpen is tops in the league so STFU about Cooper.

But he is the guy I am least worried about. He will have it click eventually. He has talent and baseball sense unlike most of his teammates.

3 outs on 3 pitches says a lot to question the baseball sense.

MacDougal still looks awful.

You also get on Walker with an offense that was put together so well it had Wise and Lillibridge leading off.

Nobody can prove one way or another that Quentin's resurgence was because of Walker

Because Coop has succeeded with a great number of our pitchers beyond their expectations (including a good deal of young guys) where Walker flat-out hasn't (including a good deal of young guys). Coop also has arguably the best 'pen in baseball right now.

But really, to make it clear, if we were to fire both Coop would have another job in a week and Walker wouldn't.

Well Whisler will be sent down

True, Q was always a big deal of a prospect. He was just always hurt. I was just throwing him out their before Dick Allen could.

I never once blamed Walker for the failures of Wise and Lillibridge, and anyone who did is an idiot.

Both of those guys were clearly not Major League talent.

its unreal how poorly we have played we are only 3.5 behind DET.

LAA takes the lead in the 8th

so long whisler. ask for two packets of peanuts.
