Harry Chappas Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Wanna know why the Sox are inconsistent. The pitcher walked two guys and neither AJ and Konerko made him throw a strike. With an 2-0 count they should looked for a pitch to drive...not the Sox they look for a good pitcher's pitch strike to swing at and end the inning. He could have been at 40 pitches for the inning, he is at 33. He will have 60 after 6. For no other reason other than to get to the pen as Bonderman is making his first start in while tonight and will most likely be on a pitch count.
