Yep. He butchered this one bad. This was a W, ridiculous.

It seems the only pitchers who really have balls on this team are the starters and Bobby Jenks when he has the lead.

 

Otherwise, the bullpen looks GREAT on paper but can't get the job done when it's time to put your foot down on the neck of the other team and crush them.

 

We're going to have our moments in the second half and Beckham and Getz will continue to be fun to watch, but we're at best a .500 team.

And I've decided that while Ozzie should have taken out Linebrink, certainly after Lee's HR, I put most of the blame on Getz and particularly Linebrink.

with how he's throwing he shouldn't pitch in any close games, but 4 runs isn't close, Ozzie should have pulled him earlier. If Poreda is going to be up here, he has to have a chance at the Linebrink role
