LOL by the end of this game I am going to make at least one cub fan at my job take a swing at me...

And now Gavin is in line for the win... guess Ozzie knows what he's doing

Oh Alexei!

And the idiots spill their beer just to throw a ball back onto the field

Unfortunately for them, last call already happened.

Man, that was sweet.

Seriously?

Bleacher dolts.

I just got home, turned on the game, and sure enough BOMB! ALEXEI! YES! HELL YES!

why is it that teams require a rivalry to play hard? i wish that all mlb clubs had this intensity throughout the entire year. i think that this is the biggest single difference in sports from 20 yrs ago to today.

How short of leash does Floyd have? 1 baserunner?

My hat is off to Ozzie for his game mgmt so far this series. Good stuff.

There were three guys in the first row and you could tell they were switching the balls. They were trying to hide it.

He's only at 76 pitches and has given up 1 run. He's got a pretty long leash still, I'd think.

Nice effort today by Gavin.

Paulie's beautiful hands with the pick.

Thornton in the 8th. Jenks in the 9th.

90 pitches through 7, he may still have another inning in him.

I'll give you two reasons:

1. 162 games.

2. No more amphetamines in the clubhouse.

Does Lou really not want Marmol for end of the season... he really gets abused by Lou and its going to catch up

Good to see Paulie taking the right approach against Marmol

Nice baserunning Kong.

I was about to say maybe Fields pinch runs but no need now...
