I would love it. Get Bosh, draft a sniper as a shooting guard (Anderson, Jones or Warren at 18, or pray Henry falls that low) sign a couple guys to the vet minimum for the bench, and call it an off-season.

 

My big hope is that Henry magically falls or the Bulls somehow trade up.

 

I'd (ugh) still hold onto Hinrich in that case...mainly as a defensive backup, but I'd go for that. Johnson and Gibson and Hinrich off the bench, that starting lineup goes 8 deep, maybe think about bringing back Miller for a small veterans contract, and then look at maybe bringing back Acie Law or something like that, and now we're 10 deep and 2 deep at every position.

 

Don't forget Asik who is supposed to come by in 2010 and Alexander could round out the roster.

There isn't a blowout in the lot, even with the Bulls playing the Cavs twice extremely shorthanded.

An MRI on Brandon Roy's right knee reveals slight meniscus tear. Roy will miss the final two regular season games and is day-to-day for playoffs.

I can't see it, but it wouldn't exactly "surprise" me either. Thunder are a young, hungry team, and usually young teams don't know any better in the playoffs. Plus the Lakers won't be just ass-raping a usual 8 seed. The Thunder have a legit superstar in Kevin Durant. I can't them upsetting the Lakers (Lakers beat them 3/4 times in the reg. season, though I know that's the regular season), but it won't be the usual 4 game series for the Lakers either. I can easily see this series going 6-7 games.

Of course this is assuming Durant has a good playoff series.

I can't see the Thunder getting more than 2 personally. Gasol should have a monster series considering that OKC doesn't have a decent center and Green plays the 4. Also, I think Westbrook and/or Durant (more likely Westbrook, but I wouldn't put it past Durant in his first playoff series either) shoot them out of at least 2 games down the stretch.
