I've never been to a Sox minor league game, but I think it'd be a lot of fun. Too bad they don't have any near Chicago.

I went to South Bend White Sox games years ago.

My goal next year is to drive down and see the Barons. I 've never been to any minor league games before.

yeah i don't understand this one bit.

The Cubs have teams in Iowa and Peoria .

The Tigers have teams in Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania

The Twins have a team in Wisconsin.

The Brewers have a team in Wisconsin

The Sox don't have a team within a 10 hour drive of Chicago.

I understand the thoughts of grouping the teams close to one another (VA, NC, SC, AL) (with Montana as an exception) but does it make marketing sense to not have an affiliate near your fan base?

If South Bend was a Sox affiliate still, I would probably go to 20+ games a year, instead of 0-2

In the buying tickets option, I'd think you might want an option for Season Ticket holders.

I have been to more games than I could reasonably count. Been to minor league games, but never a Sox affiliate, though I'd really like to.

This year I've only been to 5. In my lifetime, I voted 101-200. I get most of them from work, or my friend who's dad works for the Sox.

If I had to guess I would say about 30. Since I've been an adult and able to buy my own tickets I haven't been living in Chicago so I only get to go to 3-4 a year depending on what I do when I visit Chicago.

Lifetime:

4 in Los Angeles in 1977 when the Sox played the California Angels

1 at old Comiskey Park when the Sox played the Brewers

2 in 2005 in Denver (saw the Big Hurt hit a pinch hit homer to dead center, which is my baseball thrill of a lifetime)

2 in Seattle in 2005

Great Falls White Sox minor league games when they play in Billings

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_minor...agues_and_teams

actually it interesting there are only 10 minor league teams here in the 4 state radius. (IL, WI, MI, IN)

Illinois

- Kane County Cougars (Low A)- Oakland Athletics

- Peoria Chiefs (Low A)- Chicago Cubs

Wisconsin

- Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Low A)- Milwaukee Brewers

- Beloit Snappers (Low A)- Minnesota Twins

Michigan

- Great Lakes Loons (Low A)- Los Angeles Dodgers

- Lansing Lugnuts (Low A)- Toronto Blue Jays

- West Michigan Whitecaps (Low A)- Detroit Tigers

Indiana

- Indianapolis Indians (AAA)- Pittsburgh Pirates

- Fort Wayne Tincaps (Low A)- San Diego Padres

- South Bend Silverhawks (Low A)- Arizona Diamondbacks

Ohio has 6 teams, Missouri has only 1, Minnesota has 0.

The Knights will be in Indianapolis and Louisville the 1st week of August.

I voted for the Knights but it did not show up in the poll. I've seen the Knights in Toledo, Columbus, Louisville and Indianapolis. I seen the Barons in Jackson, TN. I just went to my 1st Sox road trip on Monday and may go to Detroit at the end of the month. I've been to see the Sox about 100 times in my life. I've never been to the Urinal though B)

Been to 4 or 5 at Yankee Stadium, 1 in Boston, 1 in Cleveland, 2 in Baltimore and 1 in Philly. Never been to Chicago :(

Also been to a Charlotte game (at Norfolk) years back when I was on vacation. I believe Willie Harris was on that team at the time (Crede even?).

Lifetime, probably 20-30 between the Cell and Old Comiskey. 2 away games.

Madison

Kenosha

Rockford

Springfield

Appleton

Wausau

all had teams at one time.

I've never been to any of their minor league games. I've been to a lot of Spring Training games. Even when they were in Florida. Ed Smith Stadium, Payne Park, etc.

We always do some sort of baseball trip to see a new stadium. So we've been to quite a few over the years.

I usually went to 5-6 games a year until I moved out to Utah, now the only time I see anything sox related is when great falls comes down to play the Orem Owlz. I usually catch at least one game a year, it's unfortunate that most of the better prospects never play for GF though.

I honestly have no idea how many Sox games I have been to in my lifetime.

I have been to like 10 this year including some spring training games but I am not even sure if thats right.

They like having almost all of their teams within a few hours of each other. It makes movement through the system much more ideal.

51-75. Never been to a minor league game.

2 home games for my 9th birthday back in 1990. But I was rooting for the A's in those games.

About a dozen games in Tampa when the Sox are in town, including Game 1 last year.

Use to live in Sarasota so I went to a lot of ST games when I was in elementary school. Either at Payne Park or Ed Smith. Also would see the FSL White Sox a lot back in those days.

I've been to 8-12 in the Cell and 3-4 at Wrigley for Cubs/Sox. I REALLY want to see some Barons games.

I'm right near the 30 level, but I went under.

I was averaging 25-30 a year for quite a while. Choosing to go to the "bad games". Those midweek snooze fests against terrible teams. I would try to predict the smallest crowd of the season and be at that game. I also had Bulls season tix at the old stadium and for a season or two before I moved.

Been a fan since 2000 and have probably been to about 10-12 games. I usually see 1-2 games a year.

There is a minor league team in Marion, IL. I don't recall the team name or affiliation, if any.

Edit to add: The team name may be the Miners.
