Can't complain too much with that inning.

I wonder when Brian realized it's ok to stay with the outside pitch and drive it to the opposite field?

Besides for Thome, he might have the most opposite field power on the team.

Small complaint, but why were they not running on that double?

Did Alexei have to jump on the first pitch? We've left two on third now. Gotta at least get one of them in there.

probably because they weren't expecting BA to hit the ball haha

Probably because of what Cuddyer did to Getz yesterday.

He's strong as hell, but often seems to think he can pull anything.

Why are Jason Kubel and Justin Morneau so ugly?

I'd give that honor to Quentin, too. Konerko and Dye can also quite easily go out to RCF, especially JD.

Beckham isn't used to playing in the Dome. He should have known when Cuddyer turned his back on the ball that it was going to be either a homer (missed by a foot) or off the baggy and picked up the 3rd base coach to see if Cox would send him home or not, but probably 8/10 chance he scores if he reads it correctly. At least Pods got him in, it would have sucked when we should have been leading 4-0 to only have the 2-0 lead.

If he could learn to drive the outside pitch the other way constantly, rather than weakly pulling it on the ground like he always does, that'd almost be the trigger for him. But bah.

He looked silly there.

Floyd perfect through two innings.

6 up 6 down.

1-2-3 goes the twins i like it

Floyd looking sharp, another 1-2-3

Good line by the Twins' announcers...the White Sox are looking for a fifth starter, WE'RE looking for a first starter.

Probably it's Blackburn for now, but he's certainly more like a Radke type than Liriano/Santana in 2006.

ANTI-JINX: Yes, Gavin, you looked really good last time out against KC until things fell apart in the middle innings on you, along with the Alexei Dumbfense.

We need to knock Perkins out of the game this next inning and tag some more runs. More as in 3 or 4 more. Unless this Twins team goes down 7 or 8, they can somehow come back. We saw that last year.

I f***ing love Floyd. Have I said it enough times that I think Floyd is the best starter we have. ERA under 2 since May 21st.

You have to wonder what happened to Liriano.

He was still good last year, although it was against really bad teams.

They're still in the middle of the pack in the AL in terms of ERA.

Does he know Blackburn has better numbers than any of our starters? That's a pretty dumb statement by some pretty dumb announcers.

Actually, Liriano's one player in MLB who's fallen off dramatically who you don't have to wonder about why it happened. He was good last year, but only pitched 70 innings.

Blackburn has nasty movement. Nasty.

A signature up 3-0 and then strike out swinging by Thome there.

Perkins back up to 90 MPH now...should have finished him off.

Let's hope Gavin can shut down the Twins until we get to their middle relievers.
