My favorite moment of the game was McCarver saying Youkilis might be the most valuable player in baseball due to his production as related to his relatively low salary (6 million). Meanwhile, the next guy up makes a little over league minimum and has better numbers this year while playing numerous positions (Zobrist).

There are a few others too. Off my head Lincecum makes like $400k and Adrian Gonzalez makes like $4m.
