July 22, 200916 yr Were getting to the final stretch before the trade deadline and the Sox are in the midst of a big time race and my guess is there is going to be a flurry of rumors the next 10 days (yep, I went out on a limb, LOL). So despite me not being the biggest proponent of it I know a lot of you have asked for it so in Soxtalk fashion you get it * Just a lot later than you had asked for it, LOL.

We need a SP if were going to make a run this year. The funny thing was in 2004, there was a HUGE uproar about both Contreras and how much we have up to get Garcia. That has completely changed in hindsite.

July 22, 200916 yr This forum shall stay open until August 31st because the Sox almost HAVE to make a move then. We should either be definitely in it or definitely out of it. If we're out, Count could go, but if we're in there will be lots of pieces available for us.
