The Bad Guys Won- book about the 1986 mets...pretty good Boys will be Boys- Dallas Cowboys 90's dynasty Both of those are by Jeff Pearlman, I really liked both of em. A good read about the goon era in the NHL in the 70's, as well as his personal dichotomy - wanting to play a "cleaner" game but at the same time enjoying the spoils of being the #1 goon in the league. Its about a 43 year old writer who participated in the Denver Broncos training camp in 2006 as a Kicker. Great look at what training camp is all about in the NFL.
