This is just clearing another roster spot for after this year, kindof like the same thing we did when we traded broadway for castro.

Who goes down? Fields? Kotsay is pretty much a UTL IF at this point.

 

 

On any other team I would agree... but on the White Sox... Kotsay might be the best defensive OF we have now that Brian is gone. Even with his bad back, knees, etc.

Either we just dumped him or Kotsay is our new 4th OF, but that's doubtful. Basically or trash for theirs.
