In his defense...he at least made some contact against Felix. Most of our righties looked ridiculously bad against him.

Because he hit a slow grounder that just as easily could've been at the shortstop, leaving Kotsay stuck at 2nd. His job was to hit to the RIGHT side. Happy that he caught a break, but that's all it was.
