Scotty Pods! A DH with some extra base power ha

:lolhitting :lolhitting

Yuck.

so theres 0 chance that pods can be our dh next year? would it be bcuz he wants to play the field, they want thome again, we should have a slugger in the dh spot, etc? i know it kinda sounds dumb, but his bat and speed is still very useful but he just cant field

Oh, Beckham. sigh

Saw it last week in Seattle and again tonight -- new book on Gordo: face-high fastballs.

Yuck.

That's his biggest weakness right now (laying off the high fastball).

Yes.

No doubt. The great thing is, I have all the faith in the world that he'll make an adjustment sooner rather than later.

What speed? The one that gets him thrown out on the bases nearly 50 percent of the time (if you take into account pickoffs)?

Yes.

so do we let him go or do we live with his awful D?

Ugh, Buehrle just doesn't have it tonight.

Extra base hits galore for KC. Cmon mark

no, not in terms of sb's but as in infield hits, 1st to 3rd, scoring from 2nd on a hit-basically not clogging the bases like the other guys

My fear is that now that we tied up the game Mark will give the run right back and maybe more

Let him go! Do you really think he will stay healthy for 162 games next year?

so do people think there is anyway we still get figgons after rios and peavy?

Let him go.

well if they do, i hope they have/get a better alternative for the leadoff spot

what is nix's walk up song? not the theory of the deadman song anymore.

thanks

Weird to keep pitching him on the outside corner when you know he's trying to go that way.
