If you hadn't been so good this season I'd be really pissed about tonight. He's just been awful with lots of runners on base.

real

this is our season in a nutsell. rid this team of slow, power hitters please.

sad

Pathetic execution with men on by our vets. Big swings, people trying to be a hero. Instead of playing within themselves and being selfless.

Well Rios its time for you to become a Sox favorite with a nice hit off the monster here.

All Dye had to do was hit into a double play, and he couldn't even do that... I can't wait until he is gone!

no fear, rios is here

Oh god, and it's up to Rios.

Red Sox will get a run in the bottom of the 8th and Pimplebum will go 1-2-3 in the 9th.

Oh, and the Tigers will win too...

Time for Rios to be the man.

Well Dye's soon to be 36. '05 was great but it's time to move BOTH him and thome along, if you ask me. The team is retooling and cant keep hanging onto the past.

What sucks is that Konerko went the other way and did the job. Then Dye gets up there and just wants to crush it.

You need a Rally Rios .

Seriously the lack of situational hitting is a f***ing joke.

With the exception of 2005, any of us could've posted this every single year since 2003. And it's only gotten worse since 2006. It's a f***ing joke that our "aggressive" general manager has (1) continuously built teams that have this exact, same losing dynamic; and (2) has taken 4 years to get out from under that dynamic, at its worst, since Thome got here. (And, yeah, I'm aware of Thome's OPS.)

passed ball please!!!

If Rios scores a run here, consider me surprised.

RIOS it is time for you to inherit the call of the Rally...
