Why is Dumpster mowing us down? Can we get 3 this inning?

Our bullpen is going to eventually break our hearts if we don't get some more runs!!!

You are quite the pessimist today :P

Its what keyed his run from the low .200's to up over .310. Once he quit, he quickly has come back down. He has great hand speed, and there is no reason he couldn't live out there.

He had a short quick swing, excellent bat speed and a great eye. When he thinks right and right center first he is a very very dangerous hitter. Now he is getting more pullish, and his power numbers have went up however his effectiveness has went down. He doesn't have enough of a power stroke at this phase in his career to value homers over doubles. He should be looking to get on, and drive the ball into the gaps.

I said once before I would rather see 40 plus doubles from him rather than 20 plus homers

He is still short, but he can't buggywhip that outside pitch into leftfield. He ends up hitting it off of the end of the bat.

Paulie just missed a cookie.

That sucked. Paulie has whiffed on junk and a high heater both.

how is that a strike?

Paulie continues to look like crap.

Carlos has been a joke this season.

Q flat out sucks at this point, why cant he hit a fastball down the pipe? It cant possibly be his foot.

Quentin is too f***ing anxious at the plate.

My god.

Bean Ball War!

Thanks for the extra baserunner Lou, maybe Tell Aramis not to punch the ball with his hand next time.

Another opporunity with men on base. Yikes

With the way Alexei has hit against the Cubs this year, that was a really, really dumb move.

Make them pay Alexei

Alexei smacked that one, but at Bradley.

This strike zone is horrid.

I think he bought into his own hype from last year. Last year he was an impressive hitter who destroyed the ball based on a solid approach. Now he is trying to make it happen, and is pressing too much. A home run should be the result of a well executed swing. When you go up there trying to hit home runs, sure you may run into one. But you become Rob Deer and generate outs in a large amount.

Hopefully he gets his perspective back and goes back to being a hitter. His natural swing will generate enough force to get the ball out. He doesnt need to go up there trying to hit a homer.

I'm out. Bring home a winner guys.

I am not feeling good about the lack of key hits vs. Dumpster. Feel like it's gonna strike us negatively to the tune of a 5-1 loss.

Peace out.

I love how Bradley refuses to throw the ball in the stands. He hates the fans and the fans hate him.

I say hit Aramis again. Aim for the shoulder

was the pitch that ramirez was hit by so obvious? F U dempster. Too bad we couldnt make em' pay
