And the Sox have run themselves into 3 outs already today. Unbelievable.

Why a straight steal? Why didn't batter swing? This is another example of 2 bad teams playing.

Every team has a guy or two as bad as Wise.

False, and we need to get over the slavish indoctrination to the idea that two moments make Wise a good player. Because every other moment of his professional career have been absolute crap. Oh, my god. Wise beats the Yankees? Well, Joe Borchard hits the longest bomb in Cell history, Kevin Mass and Chris Shelton once looked like Babe Ruth for two solid weeks, every one of these plays had their moments. Every one of these guys has or is just about washing out in the big leagues.

One more month of this.

That was a nice AB by Getz.

The White Sox should really all come to the game in a clown car.

I also agree that CQ is getting a free pass. He looks to be healthy and able to pick up right wher Dye and Thome left off next year...god I hope i am wrong.

Looked like a missed sign there.

Either way Alexei still knocking in runs.

Thunder, I'm just saying it's hilarious and a sign of our laughable season that the man so many despise is responsible for arguably our two finest moments of the f***ing season.

At least Wise has contributed to a few wins. Has Rios?

pods scares me out there

I didn't say we should bench AJ for Flowers. I just find it absurd that Ozzie so called reasons for not playing any of the young guys is that it would be, "giving up". And that Ozzie instead still regards what used to be the second worst everyday player in all of baseball (Wise), as a good option to start in a very significant game, wherein, the DH is not even playing.

Ozzie is too proud to ever say "we give up". You just gotta take what he says with a grain of salt sometimes. We'll see Flowers soon enough.

See, i'm the kind of optimist that likes to think that their should be more good moments to come this year, we can go places still, but in order to so we need to win games. I don't think we can afford to do any more sunday lineups, we need to put our best 9 on the field from here on out.

Wise has produced better than Rios so far this year for the Sox. I would bet Rios will produce much more though in the next few seasons though. Rios is also much more talented than Dwayne.

Ii was thinking the same thing Ginger Kid. He's scary bad in cf.

pods scares me out there

He's about as comfortable on his feet as he would be on a unicycle.

I didnt hate Alexei attempting the steal with two outs...it was just an awful jump. It happens. I'm not gonna look it up, but hasnt Lexi been pretty decent with SB's this year?

Pitch him high, hard, and inside Carlos

Why does Soriano think every time he makes contact with the ball that its gone?

Soriano would fit in well on our team. Mr. High Fly Ball.

Did I see someone ask why Torres is pitching from the stretch? Most likely its a control thing that Coop was working with him on. His walks were very damaging to him.

I just thought it should be a hit and run, Sonix. Not a bad idea to move the runners with 2 outs.

Probably, because he makes contact so little that each time it’s like a pleasant surprise.

Carlos's control looks good, getting ahead of hitters then throwing soft stuff low.

We need to score 8 or more runs today. Yes I said it here. Why? Torres will go five, then it's bullpen time.

Makes you wonder why he didn't pitch in NY vs Jose. It was obvious Jose was done.
