5'10" 190 is a midget?

 

Not sure most people who see him on the field could tell the difference in size between CJ and either Jayson Nix or Lillibridge (both 5'11" and around 190).

 

And fellow former SunDevil Dustin Pedroia is shorter than CJ.

He does not look 5'10. He looks Pedroia-sized, I think that is a favorable listing, like CC's weight, etc.

If CJ is 5'10" then he's a lot more than 190 lbs. He's either like 5'10" 240 or 5'6-7" 190.

How is it that his JUCO team roster had him listed as 5'10", ASU had him measured as 5'10"... and the Sox have him measured as 5'10"... and that you've never seen him play... but you know he's 5'6"?

CJ was measured once while jumping and then that same measurement just transferred over. In that video he looks short and stocky IMO.

Actually I was wrong. He's listed as 5'11" in his ASU bio.

I've never seen him either and that's why I think he's 6'4". I'm certain of it.

Exactly - its hilarious that people here, who have seen him in 1 video, think they know for sure that the guy is 6 or 7 inches shorter than his listed hight. Ridiculous.

I assume you are referring to me, and I said he LOOKS that way. Why is that ridiculous? He looks like a midget in that video. Both the ump and the catcher most be way over 6 feet tall. And the opposing 2B is taller, and whoever hits behind him as well.

Have you seen him in person, stood next to him or something, give me something of substance that tells me he is really 5'10" Because in that video he is the shortest guy on screen. Of course all the other players couldnt be 6'+. Maybe he is shrinking? Apparently he lost an inch between ASU and minor league ball, so maybe he is even smaller now.

What I have is his official listed height in two places - 5'10" and 5'11". What you have is one video. I am not the one who needs to find something of substance.

At the end of the CJs being short is what made him undrafted. I'll take it.
