January 8, 201016 yr Didn't really make one, but starting school finally on Monday, so my de facto resolution is don't be such an ****ing slacker this time.
January 8, 201016 yr Well, I usually don't make a resolution for the new year. But, I was convinced to pick something reasonable, so I want to learn how to fish. Just regular 'ol fishing.

January 8, 201016 yr QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jan 7, 2010 -> 11:17 PM) I'll teach you anything you want to know. (10 points) How do ctenoid and cycloid scales, characteristic of most modern teleosts, differ from the ganoid scales of more ancestral lineages such as the Lepisosteiformes? What sorts of selection pressures may have been responsible for the evolution of these later scale types? Cite any references used in the formulation of your answer. I'm taking my class fishing this year, but first they have to answer a bunch of questions like this.
January 8, 201016 yr Gettin' paid...more. Which actually already happened without any effort on my part. Edited January 8, 201016 yr by JPN366
January 8, 201016 yr Run a sub-90 half marathon. Seriously, I am done with college and working for four days a week this winter/spring/summer until I go to law school in the fall. All my friends are still at college basically, so I will have nothing to do, but concentrate on running my sub-90 minute half marathon. I am also taking suggestions on what to do with my boredom for awhile.
January 8, 201016 yr Listen to more heavy metal. It's a genre of music that i've been getting more into. So I want to buy old metal records this year.

January 8, 201016 yr Find that motivational spark I had back in high school where I was hitting the gym at least four times a week. It seems that in college the main reason to getting exercise is to release stress and although it does accomplish that, I want more. I want to see results and build my confidence and of course live happier and healthier. Hitting the good old gym should do just that.
January 8, 201016 yr QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 7, 2010 -> 02:22 PM) Read at least 1 book per month. Mine was to read atleast 2 books per month so that makes me a far better person than you .
January 8, 201016 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Jan 8, 2010 -> 12:25 PM) What do you have already? I've been into Slayer for a while. Been listening to Venom lately. Old metal records can be expensive, I thought old punk records were pricey.
