I had no idea what "clippy" was until you posted it. I mean the fact that you need to laugh at someone for not having a device that isn't "cool" or what everyone else has. Who the f*** cares? Why is it funny that I have Zune HD? I don't get the joke. I don't laugh at people for not wearing Northface, or for not driving a Lexus, or for not wearing Nikes. That's f***ing s*** you'd see if Mean Girls or the girls from Clueless would do. Such a high school girl mentality of elitism when it comes to consumer goods.

Yes, but you cannot say Android is the number one phone people use because its not. Thats my entire point. The iphone is not comparable to the android operating system which was what was being said and what I replied to.

 

The iphone dominates this market because the android platform has too many different devices operating on several different versions and customizations of android. Android does however dominate the mobile platform piece of the market, although in my experience developers are much more focused on developing applications for iOS.

You literally just explained the nature of every one of your apple related posts in this thread. You judge anyone that owns one and even stated you hated your generation because of it. You look down your nose at anyone who would succumb to Apples ploys, comparing them to sheep. So why are you so offended when someone criticizes your choices?

2. Looking forward to the iPhone 5 announcement. I've been eligible for a phone upgrade for about 6 months now. Very curious to see what the 5 is like officially (I've seen plenty of rumors). Think I might make the switch from the Android to iOS.

Do the 7 people that actually own a Zune HD organize meetings on how great the product is? Do these meetings conflict with the HD Dvd meetings or is there an effort to keep these from overlapping.

AS you know Android is an operating system and the iphone is a device, and the most widely used device in the market today. You cant compare android with the iphone, you can compare the sense or the samsung models with it for a fair comparison

 

And Apple's roots are the people who wanted to be different and cool, up to a few years ago, now its "mainstream" and the "cool" guys are off being different with something else. Its fine with me, I like Apple for its intuitive designs and flawless hardware/software integration.

No that's already the case since "android" isn't a phone it's an operating system. There is no "android" phone.

 

Herein lies the problem. I asked an iOS app developer why he wasn't doing an Android analogue of his app. He showed me pictures of what a normal set of testing devices for iOS looks like -- few different iPhones, few iPads, iPod touch. Then he shows me what Android testing looks like -- hundreds of devices strewn across a room. You can't hope for flawless hardware/software integration when there is so much hardware, all coming from different manufacturers and always trying to be different from the last. Apple doesn't take change lightly and it allows them to have this seamless use of what is already a superior operating system across their various products.

iPhone5 is 4", better quality screen, 3 mics for noise cancelation, 20% lighter and 18% thinner than the 4S. Uses an A6 chip, 2x faster/2x faster gfx than iPhone4s. LTE. Same talk time with 3G or LTE (8 Hours). Etc...etc...

 

Same camera in 4s, despite being thinner, better low light. Can take 28megapixel panoramas. 720p facetime front facing camera.
