April 12, 201016 yr I think a lot of us (myself included) underestimated the Tigers offense. Mostly, because i didn't expect Austin Jackson to hit this well out of the gate. I think they'll fall off when Willis and Bonderman realize they can't pitch, but i can't write them off.

Only in hindsight, after he signed with the Royals, was it clear that he'd been forced to drop his price. It's also possible we could have wound up bidding for him against the Royals for some time.
