2010 AL Central Catch-All

Wow, absolutely awful call at 2nd base on the caught stealing. How much money does Joe West's crew have on the Twins to win the ALC?

This umpiring crew is pathetic. That pitch to Avila wasn't even close. Joe West and company must really hate the Sox.

neither were any that were called in the bottom of the 8th. The Twins have had this crew for the last 5 games. Check out the scores.

Not true at all. Actually, I don't think any crew has ever called back to back series with the same team.

last night I thought they said West was working in Seattle over the weekend

And Perry in to blow the game. Lead off single to Cuddyer.

he is making a profession out of it

we just cant catch a break down the stretch can we

Shouldn't you IBB Valencia here?

u would think so to set up the DP

Right handed batters hitting .304 off of Perry.

it's not like the runner at first would make a difference

f*** avila u asswipe should have been a dp...we can not catch a break

valancia will end it

game ova....omg

Wow, Leyland is a freaking joke. Valencia has been a freaking machine with big hits for the Twins.

Any manager more overrated than Leyland?

I look forward to Valencia hitting .200 at the start of next year and seeing another, unknown hitter come up and hit .350 for half the season.

Perry sucks but will throw four shut out innings next week as the Sox will swing at balls. The Twins are becoming amazing at laying off pitches and their pitchers just do not make mistakes over the plate.

Twins are 31-14 since the ASB. I believe this will be the 4th time in 8 years the Twins are at least 10 games over .500 during the 2nd half under Gardenhire.

It just seems they get every possible call to go their way...Santiago seemed like he was safe and would have been at 2nd with a chance to be the winning run, and he was deemed out.

Especially playing at home, anything to do with Joe Mauer, it's like the umpires anticipate them being the better team and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. That's now 8 losses in 9 tries for the Tigers there.

And Scherzer pitched like an absolute ace, throwing 97-98 in the 9th inning. Plus the Tigers made some mental errors, running into a DP they shouldn't have.

I can't believe the Sox go through this all the time.

They get left to praying for the Twins to suddenly suck when all the Sox had to do was play better baseball against s***ty teams before we get to this point.

It makes it all that important to beat the Royals, Indians (nice job in finally sweeping Cle) and Tigers and at least go .500 vs. the Twins if we hope to win the division.

I wonder what the odds are of us winning the division are right now when you take into consideration the fact Minnie has a much easier schedule.
