It sure seems like it. Of course Chris Williams hasn't blocked anyone through 2 weeks.

PUNCH OUT SPECIALIST PEANUT TILLMAN!!!!!

Tillman with a huge play to punch the ball out.

How come Roy Williams didn't do his first down signal after he fumbled the ball?

Still too conservative for my taste.

I have no issues with trying to run the clock out with a 2 possession lead.

Culter-Boner. I Haz one. 136 QB rating today.

Can we please stop playing the 2 deep shell or whatever Aikman calls it... gives Romo easy passes.

Ive got no problem with Martz running the ball 3 times, knowing the Bears wont even get a yard but burning the Cowboys time outs or the clock. 2 possession game you just run clock.

That was the absolute right call. Bears took up about 2 minutes on those 3 runs and the Cowboys now have 2 minutes to score 10 pts. Going to take a lot things going the right way to get them.

Giving up completions and yardage isn't as important as keeping the WRs inbounds and wasting the clock.

Vikins: 0-2

Packers: 2-0

The issue is that we can't run the ball. There is no hope of running the clock out. What you're doing is saying we are willing to trade 2 minutes coming off the clock for possession of the ball. I'd rather use safe passes and at least have some hope of making a first down. The reward by far outweighs the small risk in my opinion, considering the odds of making a first down on the ground are about 10 %.

With this o-line, you risk having Jay get stripped or pressured and throwing a pick. I don't care if we had to punt, it was the right call.

Its just a numbers game at that point. With a 2 possession lead you have 6 touches of the ball at 40 seconds a touch. If you can make them burn time outs or wear down the clock you are most likely going to use 1:20 of clock.

Now the Cowboys are in a bad position, 1 time out and the bears have the ball.

bears need to recover this onside kick first.

Not with short passes you don't.

Well I consider onside kick a fluke play. It may happen, but when your making decisions on how to play, Id let the game come down to an onside kick. It means your ahead and they are desperate.

It's a moot point now.

Great win, Bears!

Bears 2-0

Packers 2-0

Vikings 0-2

A ball gets tipped at the line upwards and that's an INT.

The odds of something like that happening are no greater than a botched handoff or a fumble.

But if there's an incomplete pass, the clock stops. So the chances of a TO are probably pretty similar...but the chances of a clock stopping is much higher.

As are the chances of making a first down and being able to run the clock out...
