And not just at baseball games, once spring training starts, I see people wearing jerseys everywhere. I will say that I see more people wearing football jerseys once the NFL season starts.

That's a ridiculious notion. Getting older doesn't mean you have to stop rooting for individual players. If anything getting older, should reaffirm your beliefs as a fan. Feeling at all concerned that something like this is creepy, says a lot about the person holding that opinion.

The MLB tag is also off on the Ebay jersey. The silver should be on the right side of the batter and the black on the left. Another thing to look for on fakes, as you pointed out, is the Sox patch that is on the left sleeve of away and alternate jerseys. I have seen some pretty crappy fakes with the logo embroidered onto the sleeve.

He's a very good LB but is getting "white guy" fan attention.

 

I'd say that it has a lot less to do with the color of his skin than the position that he plays and the city where he plays it. The Bears literally invented the middle linebacker position and put two of them in the HOF. Being the captain of the defense also contributes to the extra attention. If Urlacher played strong safety, he'd be Gary Fencik.

 

Since there are only 19 total linebackers in Canton, my guess is that Urlacher will end up on the outside looking in. Especially considering that he much more-closely resembles Zach Thomas than Ray Lewis.

it was a sox jersey.....i dont like wearing any other teams jersey regardless of whose name is on the back....but thats just me
