I'd like to see Teahen start looking like a major league hitter today.

Just as long as he can hit starting April 5th is all I care about. He's had some big springs and ho hum regular seasons. Maybe he gets some struggles done with early and has a big year. I'm no Teahen fan, but there's no reason to believe he won't be at least what he's been despite his slow spring. Its only been 20 or so AB.

I guess I'm just not going to get to see the new and improved Rios this spring.

Rios is nursing the quad injury. No need to push him.

 

As far as Teahen, I know it's spring training, but all I've seen from him is strike outs, double plays, and tapping out on a 3-1 count with bases loaded, no out. He actually looks bad at the plate...not just having bad results. I like Teahen, and think he'll be a good player batting 8th, but they break camp in 11 or 12 days. Let's get it going.

His stance troubles me, I just don't know how you could generate power out of it.

Sure doesn't look like the Teahen that used to kill Buehrle on daily basis.

I am sitting back, relaxing, and strapping it down.

Mark issued a walk and a signle but looking very crisp so far.

This Gordon Beckham has a future in base-based ball.

Interesting. Teahen tried to change his swing in the offseason. Bet he regrets that move. haha

Kenny in the booth saying it's nice to talk about baseball and not 'other' things that were brought up recently.

 

Kenny says right now Jones and Rios are both locked in and murdering the ball.

Andruw looks amazing, you have to pencil him in as the every day starter right now. As for Teahen, he looks terrible!

Kenny again mentions how it's great to actually talk baseball, and he has not talked about baseball in a week and a half because all the questions he get are for other things.
