Not as bad as Howard's first 10 minutes.

Veasley is 1-7 with no assists and 1 turnover. Howard is 0-4. Neither is doing anything.

So let me get this straight, fathom thinks Howards sucks, right?

Veasley is garbage.

Hopefully he has a big 2nd half.

Butler is shooting like crap again, Duke is on fire, and only up 1. This game has been a ton of fun to watch.

Jukes is playing well.

Veasley had a nice pass to Scheyer there to set up the Smith 3 pointer. Hopefully Howard picks up his 4th foul early in the 2nd half.

Not a bad first half. Foul trouble really slowed Butler as two big players missed a ton of the half. They have got to keep the pace down though.

If Butler is going to play man they need to stop leaving their guy around the 3-point line to try and double-team. Duke is too smart for that and Butler's lucky they've missed a few open 3s

Thing is, they're getting better looks early in the shot clock. Duke is so disciplined in the half court on defense, they make it very difficult with the shot clock winding down.

So I got way too happy to see Gus Johnson made the Hall of Fame...only to see it's not the icon announcer!

it should be an interesting second half

Another great 6 minutes for Howard....YOU SUCK!

howard cant catch a break 4 fouls already and still 14 min left in the game

How do you leave Singler wide open time after time?

No kidding...I feel like I'm the only person who thinks Singler is awesome now.

I just don't understand keeping a 6'3 kid on him that is clearly in over his head tonight(Veasley).

Its not like it is on purpose. Duke is one of the best fundemental teams in the world. They set their screens well, which is what gives them the open looks.

Keep attacking that big oaf

the game is closer than i thought it would be i'll give them that

How was Howard a Horizon POY? Did he get some brain damage that caused him to play like a maniac this year or something?

Veasley, come on man.

It's amazing how bad he and Howard have been.

Terrible, terrible sub by Stevens there. Taking out Mack and Hayward, and put in Hahn, who couldn't guard my grandma.

Did Jukes even touch Scheyer there? That should've been on Hahn

Butler's struggling on offense again like they did against Michigan St. in the 2nd half.
