Not really his fault. Beckham fell behind in the count early, and then Quentin popped up the 1st pitch.

On my wish list after watching CQ is cutting down on his swing a little bit, we have seen an awful lot of really hard swings early in the count resulting in infield pop ups.

Quentin doing his best Uribe impression. So Beckham goes up there, takes the first strike (which would have been a homerun by 95% of the league), then, Q goes up and pops out on a s***ty first pitch.

 

This team has no clue or plan at the plate, they just go with the flow.

I know it's only 5 games in, but if Beckham has a "sophomore slump", it's going to be hard to contend.

Beckham is not doing terrible at all... no reason even to bring that up at this point. He's making contact, taking walks, etc. he's just not a doubles machine yet.

The Twins usually average a hit per inning too. The only problem is they'll get 3 or 4 or 5 in one inning. Then go a few without.

Sadly Garcia will have a nice game the pen will be expected to shut the Twins out for 3 or 4 innings and the offense will continue to wet themselves.
