I dont think we're going to be able to sign him if he keeps this up. I don't think we'll be buying next year anyway. Still, good for Andruw!

Yes, but that's KW's way of handling things. Signing them to extensions during the year before having to get into FA battles.

Whooo-hoooooo! Ironic that what had in the pre-season looked like one of our weakest links is doing great and the rest of the team has stunk. If only the rest of team could play up to their abilities...

Confusing but fun

 

I got to watch tonights game on Fox Northwest, which is the Mariners station, but it was all good when Andruw belted that one in the 9th. I sure enjoyed the pitching of Matt Thornton too :gosoxretro: :headbang

Yeah, but 2 1/3 IP...

 

That's way too much for him in one outing.

 

Now he can only get 2 appearances in a row instead of 3.

 

 

I would suggest just enjoying Jones' performance. If he contributes and is a one-year guy for us, so what?

Npbody is going to offer Jones some huge contract. I just hope he can keep swatting home runs. We need every hit we can get.
