this is just a cruel, cruel f***ing joke of a season

Good thing we keep using Santos in non-pressure situations.

I'm sure Lopez's eyes lit up after seeing a BP fastball right down the pipe....good one.

Hawk summed it up.

"What else is gonna happen?"

Wow that is like a kick in the nuts...

As soon as I saw Lucy set up inside, I knew we were going to be trailing.

this is sooo bad

We can still win this game.

Simply miserable managing by Ozzie letting Gavin stay in to face Figgins. FIRE EVERYONE!

I was wondering when someone would say this. All the guy had to do is get one out.

I mean, you can't be serious.

At least we're only down by one.

I started to say that gavin blew it by loading the bases in the first place, but does it really matter?

I'm sure our bullpen would have retired them with ease if we were trailing by 10 runs. I have to laugh that now Thornton is brought into the game. Ozzie and his f***ing R/L rules.

Even so...this is beginning to feel like being a Bears fan. Even when/if they win....ya never feel good about it. Frustrating!

This club is finding new ways to steal defeat from the jaws of victory.

because thornton is automatic(peavys start in cleveland) and he was sure to get out of it....

Yes we can .

And to think our pitching is suppose to be the biggest strength of this team....

One of these days his arm will wear out.

THE SKY IS FALLING AGAIN!! AAHHHH!!!!

Down by 1, no biggie.

if they can recover from that blow and find a way to win, then this team has more to them than i give them credit for

I'm so tired of the Sox.

Well, one thing's for sure.

Ozzie is going to have to think LONG and HARD next time about not using Santos when Putz is only at 92-93 MPH with no life/movement.

Putz is just not 100% yet. That fastball is straight as can be. And yes, I'll take my chances with Thornton every time. If you're going to save him to face Griffey Jr., then you can bring him in to face Ichiro and/or Figgins.

It's now replaced by losing. Losing is a habit and the Sox are there.
