Are you a fan, or a masochistic voyeur?

I don't understand how one can claim to be such a hardcore fan, but constantly revel in everything negative.

I don't understand why someone with an obvious differing outlook or perspective on things needs to keep trying to change the perspective of others. Some people are just hardwired to be more pessimistic. Your complaining of that won't change anything.

Now that is the very definition of irony,

Because every game offers renewed HOPE that things will change...and no game is exactly the same as any other that has happened in the history of the game.

I could quote from James Earl Jones' "bleacher" speech to Annie in Field of Dreams but I'll spare myself citing it at the moment.

Every game?

Every day you start a thread about replacing our manager, GM, left fielder, third baseman, ss, catcher, groundskeeper, equipment manager, etc.

Renewed hope?

The Sox didn't really seem happy with him after the spring. I am not sure why, but I wonder if any of it has been fixed.

SSK, here is his current line from MILB.COM. He is rakin, not sure he needs to prove much more.

Because suffering with the White Sox (68-76, 78-82, 84 to the most exciting team, the one in the final year of old Comiskey Park) is a family birthright. It's something that you can't run away from or turn your back on, no matter how frustrated or aggravated you get.

AJ AJ AJ!!!

OK so everyone who stopped being a Sox fan just then now has to switch back....

There's a difference between complaining about the team and complaining to someone about being negative.

AJ!!

Good timing to not suck AJ, good job buddy.

AJ's been really coming around....good Job bro...

Wow, very clutch AJP!! Silly me, I thought Kotsay was up there. Linebrink deserves this win.

AJ's not dead yet.

And you dont need CQ to find his old days if you have a Marte finding ....his

The sun will come out...tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar....

Way to go AJ. I was about to say I'd almost prefere Lucy to bat here.

Look, this is a FAN forum. The general definition of that is a place where one goes to CHEER on his team. Not beat down others who still have some enthusiasm, unlike yourself. If I wanted that, I would go down the street to one of the casinos and play Let It Ride all day long til my bank account is empty, then stumble down to the strip club and get my ass kicked by a bouncer for trying to touch a stripper inappropriately.

I do not need it here.

This game is filled with irony.

Swisher's homer, now the White Sox raking against 2005 WS ring holder Damaso Marte.

And you are right. The complaining won't change anything.

Can we just talk more about baseball and the White Sox than the posting habits of people? I'll gladly clean up my posts and keep them constructive instead of just flat out b****ing. There's good posters on here that have become nothing but reactionary to that of other people.

You have to love the never say die attitude of this team....it is whats going to carry us to a World Series title. Go Sox!!!

So we have seven runs with a starting line that had 2 guys around .100, and 5 under .200. You just never know.
