Ya my little brother (all age 17 of him) loves that website. He is just fascinated by poker. I'm proud of him.. but I know he can probably whoop my ass since I haven't played in about 3-4 years.

I was playing poker like crazy a couple of months ago. And then I went to Vegas and played for like three days straight. Haven't had the desire to play since then.

I haven't played poker at all this year. I need to play again sometime soon. I just generally hate getting back into it against players who play like all the time, because I feel like such a f***ing donkey at the table.

What happened in Vegas that killed your desire lol?? I usually go through fazes where I love playing poker all the time and than times where I dont want to touch it. Right now im on pokerstars everynight hitting up the 4.40 SNG's.

I play in charity tournaments around here all the time. There is a company called Chicago Charitable Games that runs games from Joliet to Tinley all the time. Played this sunday. Entered two $25+5 sit-n-goes and a $40 bounty tournament, 100 entry max. Got 4th on both sng's and middle of the pack on the bounty tourney.

 

Also run a home game every 6 weeks or so, $20 a head.

Yeah, and filled with wanna-be's who have watched too much poker on TV. It looks intimidating but really its the same old players from the old trump and Grand Vic.

I like hold 'em but I've never played at a casino. Just at a friends house or something. I actually went to a casino for the first time a few months ago. Beginners luck on slots.... I think I would be too intimidated to ever play poker at a casino. Online at Pokerstars sometimes (play money, im chicken s##t)
