He's comming here people. He's comming...

Yeah. I'm sure they'd announce that the day before the messiah's press conference.

I feel like this has probably been posted somewhere, but I haven't seen it. If it has, my bad.     http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/news/gilbert_letter_100708.html   Not sure how everyone else

yep, booz, 5 years 80 mil, just under the max. i'm good with that. either get lebron or add a SG.

Well we got Carlos Boozer. Hopefully LeBron takes notice.

OMG...yes yes yes. Come on LBJ!!!

Boozer, Lebron, Noah, Rose > Wade, Bosh, Rose

If the Bulls pull that off, they were masterminds.

Are you guys speculating, or is this true?

This contract is going to be laughably bad by the end of the deal. Hopefully they land Lebron.

Does that leave enough room for LeBron?

I would be very ticked if they passed on Wade/Bosh over a chance at LBJ, I think Wade will break down before the end of his contract but he still has 3-4 years left

Depending on the contract's structure, they might not have room for him unless they trade off a $4-5 million.

Yes, it's the EXACT number they needed to leave room for Bron Bron.

i think it leaves basically the amount they need for one max deal

Yes, yes it is.

I've been wanting Boozer since last off-season. But after all this, I didn't want him THAT much...

Ya I'm not looking forward to the last 2 years of it, but it had to be done, and seeing him and Rose P&R (EASY assist for Derrick) for the next 3 prime years of his will be nice. Also we finally get a lost post presence which seems like forever now we've lacked.

But.... it won't be even 1/8th as bad as that Joe Johnson contract.

I don't like Boozer and I really don't like him for that much money, but he is a good piece if you have Noah, LeBron and Rose next to him. If you don't get LeBron I will despise even looking at Boozer though.

Possible Contract Structure

1 $13,793,103 $13,793,103

2 $14,896,552 $28,689,655

3 $16,000,000 $44,689,655

4 $17,103,448 $61,793,103

5 $18,206,897 $80,000,000

There's a chance.

How quickly emotions turn on this ride.

With Boozer signing that deal, does it not feel like the writing is on the wall for Lebron?

1) Lebron is the highest paid player on the Bulls, no tie with Amare.

2) Lebron comes to a core group of Boozer, Noah, Rose. No trades needed. Bulls could potentially keep Deng as SG/SF for line up of Rose, Deng, Lebron, Boozer, Noah.

3) Bosh/Wade dont go to Bulls even thought it seemingly made more sense.

4) Bulls have been extremely quiet while being at the forefront of all rumors.

Can this really be happening?

Paying a 33 year old Carlos Boozer $18 million is going to be VERY ugly.

Boozer is better than a lot of you think. He isn't amazing, but he's a serious upgrade and we don't have to give up anything to get him. Will it be enough to get Lebron? I don't know, but that core is pretty damn good. You add Lebron and that team should meet up with the Lakers a year from now.

How could LeBron look at this roster and say no right now?

well GarPax swung for the fences if the rumor about them having Bosh/Wade put opting to wait on LBJ were true, have to give them that much!

He is... we're talking 20 points, 11 boards, 56% shooting.

well i still dont think we land lebron but hopefully he stays in cleveland so we can give those f**ks in miami a run for their money
