just checked in. This ejection seems as bad as the one agaisnt the orioles.

If the Sox win today and mark faces the Rays it is a win-win.

Nice camera work on WGN to show 100% clearly that there was no balk.

Randy would get the win if this lead holds

not necessarily. in this situation the scorer can pick the pitcher the he feels was most effective and give him the win

1st and 3rd, nobody out, gulp.

no reason to believe he can't do it here.

Except for how crappy his overall performance has been.

They really need to get an extra inning out of williams.

and that is a scary thing, but he has shown that at times he can do well. What are the chances of Santos doing a couple innings?

oh-oh :pray

Its actually 2nd and 3rd nobody out, my mistake, hopefully Pena can get out of it.

Pena in. Williams out.

Nothing worse than for a team to take a lead like the Sox in the top of the inning and have the pitcher give it back. Relief pitchers especially...

Randy reminds me of Johnny Drama for some reason.

3-1 Tribe

I am DVRing the game. Does it seem in this game Mark gets dinged for what he has always been allowed by the umps to do?

Sac fly hit hard. Somehow Pierre keeps the runner on second.

Pena's given us 2+ in a quarter of his outings this year including two 3 inning performances. Only 2 runners have scored in those 10.2 IP, he's stranded all 3 runners he's inherited in these situations.

Absolutely. There isn't even a gray area to it as far as I saw.

jinx.

Branyon doing his Pods imitation on the basepaths.

WOW! horrible base running there. THANKS!

Good job Pena!

Nice cutter by Pena to end it. Great pitching in the big spots so far today.

fixed for this years team

That's 11.2 IP of long relief from Pena so far this year (I assume he'll go at least another inning if not 2) with only 3 total runners scoring.
