And I actually agree with that. Although I'd rather have Quentin play more than Teahen and maybe let Q DH time to time as well. I've posted this a few times already, I just do not want Teahen batting against lefties.

Has there been any serious talk Teahen would be moved to the outfield? I thought he was the savior at third base, the reason for the Beckham move.

You're not going to be very good if you spend the first 2 months with your team hitting .150 with no one on base and .300 with RISP.

Just surprised to hear you basically giving up on a guy who is capable of MVP numbers to platoon with a guy who will never be confused with ever having an MVP type season.

Beckham was never supposed to play third base.

Yeah and after acquiring Teahen, he was moved to second. Teahen was the replacement and Teahen is no good IMO.

If I had any confidence at all in Quentin snapping out of it any more, I wouldn't be saying that. but look, if you want to stay in the race, you can't keep running Quentin and Beckham out there and ignoring the fact that they're not improving.

 

If you're playing for this year, these 2 guys are the repairable slots. If you're looking for next year, then by all means run them out there every day.
