Normally, the game would be over by now. This time, it seems he wants to drag out the tension an additional 3-4 minutes.

I'm hands down the biggest Ozzie hater here but I don't see it.

 

I understand he's our closer, but when a guy in the big leagues can't get any secondary pitches over, he's a dead duck.

 

I know the rules, closers either close the door or blow the game, but sometimes you can't play it by the text book. This is one of these instances. This game is CRUCIAL with Minnesota not playing tonight.

Is there a worse manager in our division than Ozzie?

I hope I'm wrong, but I honestly don't think we can recover from this game if we make it past this inning, and I'm not sure we can recover the season after this if we lose. And I'm normally optimistic.

Our efforts against our division and s***ty teams in general have handicapped us going down the stretch. Good teams don't consistantly f*** up like this against inferior talent. There are only so many crappy teams you can make into world beaters by kicking the ball around and pitching like you suck. For all those who are saying the sox are gassed. Well its their own damn fault. The only reason they needed that run was because of how horrible they started the season. Play 500 ball in April and May and beat some of these crappy teams and we are printing tickets for the playoffs.

Thing is, Jenks has a pretty good fastball tonight all things considered. It's just his offspeed pitches have been awful.
