Yep...and I still stand by my belief that he's mentally defeated if he strikes out in his first AB.

would love to see gordo get stronger in those situations. that's potentially a win with a hit right there.

His bat speed this year hasn't been the same that it was last year. Those are pitches he has to yank down the LF line for a double. He showed a good 30 game stretch or so, but his bat is definitely lagging through the zone again.

Really don't like Jackson still being in this game. Lots of stressful pitches coming off of his last start.
