QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 8, 2010 -> 06:56 PM) No one answered my question about Teahen's 2nd error. This is a pull baseball special it seems. About it being a double play ball? Yes, it was. He made a

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Sep 8, 2010 -> 08:02 PM) Except for the fact that it would be a 1-1 game right now.... And I think there's a decent argument that it might be 1-0. Danks had to throw a lot o

I think we're going to hear some interesting post game comments from Ozzie.

Really Teahen?

This is Year #6 of Mark Teahen proving that he does not deserve to be a starting player at the Major League level. The madness has to end!!!

I have no problem with Ozzie pulling him right now. For f*** sake, you're in a pennant race.

That was a good pick on the short-hop, but there's zero reason to rush that throw.

take this mofo out of the f***ing game

WOW F*** TEAHEN

HE REALLY F***ING SUCKS

I'm 99% sure that if Kotsay is not on the team next year (probably will be the starting 1B) that Teahen becomes the #1 whipping boy.

Unless it's Peavy because he's soaking up so much money and not pitching, but injury is so much less fun to argue about than just sucking.

On the bright side, Minnesota's payroll will be larger with two closers in Capps and Nathan, so I can't imagine they'd have a ton of money to spend. What would be hilarious is if the White Sox brought back Thome and then he was as bad as projected by many experts.

Danks just lost it there.

kotsay last night, teahen tonight. extending innings.

What did Teahen do now?

Oh, I see, another huge error and what could have been a double play ball, right?

I'm sure Greg is laughing somewhere now. Well, 75% laughing and 25% pissed.

C'mon Johnny pitch over this.

and there you go

This is so frustrating.

I LOVE unearned runs.

I'm not one to get on players, at all, but Jesus Christ

I think Teahen is used to the season being over by mid-August.

and he sure is doing his part to make sure it could be over by mid September..

That was an 86 MPH cutter that didn't cut much and was up and right out over the heart of the plate.

Not great pitch selection or execution there.

I'm starting to think Jackson is the only one on the Sox who can consistently pitch in and out of trouble.

Who is this announcing? Same guy from yesterday, too?

Atta boy, Johnny. One more.

Or the season never starting period.
