Really, I think that comparison is totally deserved. Coming into this season, Quentin's bat was going to determine our place in this division. We've been better than expected from a lot of guys in the lineup, but that's been one spot that we've way underproduced.

Glad Kotsay got an at bat.

This offense flat out did not show up to play the last three games. Seems like a team that was on its last legs on this road trip, and just hit the wall once the magic wore off.

So Lillibridge is in at 2nd. Maybe he should have just hit instead of Kotsay.

On the bright side, Frank Thomas sounds miles better than he did earlier in the season. He has really improved his commentary.
