If whatever the guy was doing was so bad, why didn't someone sitting close to him call for security? Why did Oney's "girlfriend" have to come from all the way across the room and confront him? Then, whatever the kid said to her, did it warrant a physical attack? Why couldn't she just call security if whatever he said to her was so offensive?

 

And given that the girl walked across the room to assault a heckler at a roast, wasn't she also acting like an Ahole and didn't she "have it coming"??

Yes, because if anything can make this discussion more civil it's this kind of talk. When talking about all matters Guillen there’s no need to make anything more divisive. I don't think anyone's saying that they'd have liked what went down at the roast to have escalated, but clearly some kind of divine power needs to sweep in and tell Oney to shut up. Lostfan was just offering that someone's fist would be a plausible solution.

It happened very quickly and the guy was escorted out. He was swearing and waving his arms like an idiot. He called the girl a ho (using a different word). Personally I thought she was ridiculous for confronting the guy over worthless Oney, but no I wouldn't say she "had it coming".

I honestly don't care what anyone calls my wife, or myself...I'd not hit them for such a stupid reason. This is what neanderthals with peanut sized brains do. Not only is an anger reaction not worth it for someone being obnoxious and stupid, but a complete waste of energy. Why would you waste your time on a person like that? You punch them...and get sued and/or go to jail...I missed where this was smart.

If it's the guy everyone's talking about, there was someone standing up and shouting at Oney. He was a couple tables deep and I couldn't see his face because of the lights, but I'm assuming he wasn't sober. I didn't see her go slap the dude.

They had the recipient of the slap on the Mac Show. Sounded like a tool. He said he dislikes Oney because he's a Jenks fan and was starting Bobby chants during Oney's time up. He also denied calling the girl any names, but it sounded like he was lying. But I dunno, I wasn't there.
