Cause it was a hit up the middle. And yes, he actually is a role model if you're looking to model your game after a player. His hustle is the only part of his game that's not overrated.

Ok, then they clearly just hate Jeter.

Rios automatic out.

Rios automatic out.

Been that way going on four months now. I'm extremely disappointed. I really thought he turned a corner after his fabulous May of last year.

96 MPH? Who the f*** is this guy?

f*** aj, you had to know that pitch was coming

Keep letting Colon off the hook.

It's like our players don't even read a scouting report. And Rios, please go back on whatever weight routine you used to be on. This warning track power stuff is tiring.

What the hell? Colon can still throw 96? Where the f*** was this when he pitched with us?

Cooper stresses command over velocity. For some it works (Thornton), others it doesn't (Masset)

You know how messed up our scouting department is, when we cant even scout players who used to play on our team. Anyone shocked that Colon has a two seamer. AJ seems to be. We forget players weaknesses and play to their strengths. Why who knows.

Just saw the video of the hit. Jeter was like 30 feet away from that ball. No idea what DJ and Farmer were clamoring about. I mean, I hate Jeter, but that wasn't even close to him.

This elevation in velocity isn't "moving to the Yankees" and you know it. He took a year and a half off and finally let his arm heal more.

I figure we've got one more inning to get to Bartolo before it's curtains.

How in the hell do we play in the AL and have 6-7-8-9-1 in the order with 2 combined homers after 24 games?

OzzieGuillen: This one going to cost me a lot money this is patetic

OzzieGuillen: Today a tough guy show up a yankee stadium

No, I don't know it. I've seen enough of Rothschild to know how he coaches his pitchers. It's not always the best, as some see their arms fall off.

Our manager thinks we are in the NL, he is trying to figure out why he is paying a pitcher who doesnt bat.

Joba and Rivera in the pen for them tonight?

It could be Lance Broadway and Felix Diaz and they would mow down our hitters right now.

MB around 100 pitches. If he's finished then I would say well done this evening.

Yeah, give him credit. Didn't think he'd make it past the 4th after that first inning.

Why even swing at that? SMFH.

Holy hell, he wasn't even close to ready to hit that. What a terrible hitter right now.

Winning - Gordon Beckham now hitting under .200.

Stay hot, Gordon.
