That's not on Jake at all. I'll be sure to remember that one.

God f***ing damnit. Pierre sucks.

JFP. Juan f***ing Pierre.

24 pitch inning Peavy will be lucky to go 5 tonight.

Nice play by Alexei. Peavy's velocity is better than expected, but his slider has nothing on it.

I was going to post about Pierre...but it's all been said. Theres just nothing to say at this point.

Can we just DFA Juan Pierre already?

Juan Pierre, the grindy no tools out maker who wears his mitt on his head. He makes Pods look like gold glover.

That play Alexei made at short was spectacular. That was a rough hop.

Jake's slider is just hanging there, bad news bears.

Juan Pierre is the worst player in baseball. I've seen enough. He needs to evaporate or something.

i was going to post about that. It really is looking ineffective thus far.

I wouldn't be totally surprised if Jake gets hurt trying to choke out Juan in between innings.

If you consider that Pierre's speed is basically a zero tool because of how often he gets caught stealing, one could argue that 3 of our 9 offensive starters are zero tool players at this time.

The Angels are going to start crushing Jake's first pitch fastballs if he doesnt start to mix it up.

He's probably overthrowing the slider

Chances are 99.999% that Pierre will come up with runners on later in the game with a chance to redeem himself...and of course won't.

Call in Thornton from the bullpen to help after Peavy goes down.

That's baseball, yo. The first time through the lineup is usually heavily weighted with fastballs.

Of course, that would be a moronic argument based on slumping players that only a fool would make

Chatwood's fastball is nowhere close - hit him hard.

Good teams do something (good) in this situation.

Mark Teahen should consider.....a double.
