yep, Tomko and someone else (can't remember who off the top of my head) anonymously called AJ a clubhouse cancer, and I believe AJ felt like it definitely had a negative impact on his free agency (which it did). AJ then paid anyone 100 bucks who hit a HR off him next spring....IIRC it was Joe Borchard who had a Benjamin Franklin in his locker after taking tomko deep.

 

One of the guys ended up apologizing to AJ...i believe it was Tomko, can't remember who the other pitcher was though
