May 28, 201114 yr Need Becks back tomorrow. Omar's looked every bit of 44 at the dish these past few days. Lilli needs to play a bit more regularly, subbing for Alex or Juan or CQ (bumping him to DH for the Mule) until he proves (again) he can't. He may or may not be turning the corner as a hitter, but his number of AB's to this point is probably 30-40 below where it should be based on the struggles of the above. Another case of Ozzie mismanagement. What new?
May 28, 201114 yr WGN game today had a shot of the dugout and the players around Beckham made him show his face to the camera. Pretty swollen. Might not be back for acouple games or so. At least it ain't a serious injury. Looked bad though

And I know this is going to sound selfish and I'll be looked at as the demon downer (I don't like Debbie). But am I the only one worried that this could bother Becks for the rest of the year? Or that it will be used as an excuse if he never recovers? I could totally see if in two weeks and Gordon is still struggling that the ball to the eye will be the culprit Walker, Ozzie, Ranger, Merkin, Hawk, etc point to.
