June 4, 201114 yr MOREL! TCQ! STEALTH ELF! NUMERO UNO SANTOS! PIERRE!!! Anyone I forgot! Pierre's homer wins the game. WOW, how weird it feels to say that! Edited June 4, 201114 yr by TheBigHurt
June 4, 201114 yr You touched on everybody. Sergio is awesome. In a perfect world, would be nice not to walk anybody, though. I noted only 23,000 fans on a Friday night. Interesting.
June 4, 201114 yr Missed this one. Looks like we left a billion runners on. Still have to correct that. But I'll take the win. Make that 17-9 in their last 26 games. You knew this was coming. Can they sustain it? That's the question. And I don't mean play .700 baseball the rest of the way. But no more of these 3-4 week funks in which you can't tell the difference between them and the '03 Tigers.

June 4, 201114 yr QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 11:07 PM) A shame you missed it. Your man Juan walloped a homer. Yeah, I saw the boxscore and thought it was a typo. That's his 1.

June 4, 201114 yr Pretty solid atmosphere from the 23000 in attendance tonight, even if I was the only one in my section to note that Lillibridge and Pierre homered in a game that Dunn had an infield hit.. I'd put a good ten spot down that that combonation of events never happens again. Nice victory. Good to see Sergio with the 4 out save, he's for real.

I'm going with Hawk has never seen that in his 52 years in the game.

Yeah, those 23,000 did look and sound good on mlb.com. Sounds like we had some true Sox fans in the crowd tonight. Really good crowd. Wish I was there.
June 4, 201114 yr Jesse Crain was not avialable today due to family matter, he was not at the ballpark today. per Merk
June 4, 201114 yr Paulie said he was sore today and was not available, "we'll see" about tomorrow. per Beatnik
June 4, 201114 yr Might be a good time to recall Teahen, if PK isn't ready to go. They'd be a little shorthanded on the bench.
June 4, 201114 yr QUOTE (robinventura23 @ Jun 4, 2011 -> 11:57 AM) Might be a good time to recall Teahen, if PK isn't ready to go. They'd be a little shorthanded on the bench. They kept the extra arm in the pen since Crain has been unavailable for a few days. If JC can go tonight, they might make the move, if JC needs another day, then Marquez is staying for another day.
