Reason this is a terrible loss is we might have faced the worst pitcher to start a game all season, and then we had about 10 pitches to win the game. This is so similar to the Tampa debacle on another Friday night where they had a long losing streak.

No, you continually s*** on this team so you can be the board contrarian. The only thing you're reliable at is being wrong about damn near everything.

You can't start 11-22, lose games like this, and make the playoffs. That's why starting 11-22 almost always leads to an October at home, there's no margin for error. When you start like a major league team, then an occasional loss like this can be absorbed. But with the start this team had, every single loss like this is a major step closer towards the teams typical failed season that ends after 162.

 

 

Nope, not devastated at all. It was much worse just losing a game to the Tigers.

Biggest issue with our blown saves is that it seems like we've gone on to lose all but one of those games. At least we can say that when Sergio goes bad....he really goes bad.

On the plus side, only a bad loss brings out 94 users in a game thread.

Not the end of the world...but every 10 days it seems we turn two very winnable games into losses..it is getting old. I can only imagine Ozzie is going to go off the handle after this one.
