Seriously is there a stat out there showing how many times a player comes to the plate in a single season with the bases loaded? I feel like Juan has set the all time record this year

I hate leaving the bases loaded.

You can hear the disgust in Hawks voice for Pierre

I'm sure he's a good person. But he's a horrible baseball player. No hyperbole.

He's come up so many times with a RISP and done just absolutely jack s***. I can't stand it anymore.

Of course, losing (or winning) this game has VERY little to do with Juan Pierre, but why, why, why does he always seem to come up with RISP or in key situations?

Well now that was a quick solid inning.

Peavy a quick inning.

He's 0-7 on the year with the bases loaded, 1 BB 2 RBI

Cause he gets the most at bats on the team?

Well that was obviously a much better inning. Pitch count through 2 a little more reasonable now as well

Jakemeister seems to have worked things out....let's hope we can get at least 4 more shutout innings out of him today

Just don't get the logic of resting Quentin AND Konerko.

Quentin, I get. But the only legit offensive threat we've had the last week, along with AJ?

Pierre is 0-8 with bases loaded, 1-10 with man on 3rd and less than 2 outs

Wow...he's overdue. Juan should definitely get hits the next couple times to the plate with bases loaded.

I would have sworn it was at least 20 times at bat...

Good news guys Sox are past halfway point in games played the Juan Pierre days in a Sox uni are on the downhill side! That is a positive for me. :lolhitting

Only thing I can think of is Konerko asked for day off, as plans were to play Dunn in RF.

Alexei is 6/8. Pierre now is 0/8.

Only 300+ PAs or so until Juan is gone. That really depresses me. He will not be benched under any circumstance.

Pierre is 2-26 after having a 2-0 count in an at bat. That's ridiculous

This is actually PK's first game off (not day) since June 4th. We have 10 straight before the ASB (and he'll be there), so a game off here does kind of make sense somewhere along the way

Lots of Detroit Tigers at the top of that list

That is horrid.

If Ozzie's willing to bring the infield in (in Colorado) in the 3rd inning, then he should be willing to PH with PK! lol
