Wow, didn't expect that to get past the infield. Way to go Dunn, huge hit!

That probably means it was a safety squeeze, not a suicide

Not a bad call against Cabrera coming off the oblique strain, but the majority of MLB 1B make that play at home with the bare hand toss and this inning suddenly looks much uglier.

Did Dunn actually get a hit? What the heck? A single? Through the shift?

Back to back change-ups. Verlander outthinking himself there. Would have been better off with FB or curve, as you don't want to speed up his bat.

Verlander is a piece of s***. We should see if Detroit would trade him for Doug Davis

CQ yes 4-0

The universe is beginning to collapse upon itself.

Very nice swing by Carlos! Come on Rios, remember that you used to be a doubles machine.

This is almost as many runs as people thought we'd have hits.

Are we the Twins now?

4 hits, all singles?

Only the 2nd time this season he's given up 4 or more runs.

NOW GAVIN, please don't choke away the lead. You can't have Verlander down 4-0 and let them get away.

We need to make the third out soon....hate to have Floyd sitting this long and getting out of rhythm

I think the sox need some new bats

Rios to the Tigers rescue. :lolhitting

Run you c***. Could have beaten that out.

Yeah, May 2010.

Did c*** rhyme with runt or rock?

I really think that Rios should go BACK to his old stance and hand position as awful as it was technically speaking. In the first half last year no one in the league hit the ball harder with more consistency than Rios, and we need to just let his athleticism do the work again and get Walker out of his head.

Dunn stepping up in 2nd Half. Rios, not so much.

Wow, a pretty decent play by Teahen. He's actually not so bad on that type of ball where he's fielding the ball on the run. It's when he's stationary that he gets in the most trouble.

That hand position did nothing for him since like july of last year though.

Oh the irony. THE IRONY!

Rios hands don't bother me as much as his crouch, but, I digress. They both do.

Asdrubal Cabrera almost catching up with Quentin in homers, hit his 16th.

Tied 3-3 against the Orioles.
