Santiago pitched pretty well for the Barons. No decision, not his recent dominant self and the 4 walks were a problem

Saladino continues to trend upwards, Mitchell back down.

2/4 for Wilkins w/ his 22nd HR and 85th and 86th RBI.

Unless Paulie moves to full time DH seems like Wilkins will be blocked for a few years and might wind up trade fodder... I hope not though. A season with the Barons and a season with the Knights with steady improvement like he's shown and he'll be a nice player taking over 1st...

Is Wilkins really perceived as a legit prospect to be an everyday MLB 1B, full-time?

Obviously he put up some strong numbers this season...but I've never seen him on any Top 10-15 prospect lists for the White Sox, and with the depth of our system, that's pretty telling.

After the season he has had, I can see him cracking some Top10 prospect lists, certainly top 15.

Definitely top 10 on my personal list. Me and Cerb are in agreement he is probably the biggest sleeper in the system currently.

Wilkins bypassed the usual stint at Low A Kanny. Went straight from GF in 2010 to W-S in 2011. I would not be surprised to see another leap in 2012. He'll be 23 this month. Too bad he is not slated for AFL.

Oh great, another 1b asset that gets traded away.

That 2010 draft looks pretty good now with Sale and Reed on the Sox, plus Saladino, Wilkins, Petricka, Blanke, and Ravelo doing some good things.

He struggled a lot in his first half in W-S, which really wasn't surprising considering his jump from Rookie ball. He's been very good in the 2nd half and I'm cautiously optimistic.

Man, Saladino has been on a tear lately.

Interested to see what reliever he ends up getting traded for.
