Looks like Carpenter definitely doesn't have it. The offense is gonna have to step up. Good job, ace.

Never judge a pitcher based on the first inning

Freese man! That is three big hits in a row. Incredible. Back to tied. Rangers lose their first lead of the night. It was the walks.

One of those pitchers needs to step up.

I don't understand how any non-Cardinal fans can possibly be rooting for TLR right now.

TLR should really get EJack up in the pen. Carpenter has nothing, and that won't work with Layne having a tiny zone.

Wouldn't mind some Edwin Jackson pitching tonite.

Wonder if CJ Wilson will make an appearance for the Rangers.

Craig-Pujols-Berkman-Freese...dang that is nice middle of the order right now.

I think that not having a DH helps the Cardinals.

Send the $117 million man to the dl, his replacement homers.

Turn the AC on because Allen Craig is still hot! Cardinals have their first lead of the game and 18 outs to go. The Holliday injury definitely helped the Cardinals.

Carp just aced Napoli

I would have pinch hit for Harrison there. Cannot afford to give up an out. Harrison isn't pitching lights out and you have Wilson.

Well Texas, now you have to come back from 3 down.

Matt Holliday getting thrown out yesterday is the best thing that could happen to the Cardinals

Yep, he had been looking terrible in this series. Couldn't catch up to any fastballs. Massive kudos to Carpenter, who overcame his lack of stuff early in game to pitch a gem.

41 walks by the rangers this series, most ever in a world series

7% of MLB will soon control 35% of the world series titles.

Definitely. I thought it was going to be a barn burner after the first two innings.
