Joker raped and crippled Barbara Gordon. He blew up the second Robin. He's a ruthless murderer. It's not like he wasn't a dark, mean-ass dude. And he sure as HELL has a lot more to his story dating back over half a decade than Darth Vader's film career.

For those holier than thous who find it so ridiculous that Joker is 1 and blame it all on Ledger, he'd have been my #1 regardless if that movie existed or not. He is a mean, mean dude.

Im not going to argue who is a worse murderer, they were both pretty bad, but that is a pretty ridiculous statement. Vader was basically a one man genocide machine and hunted every jedi in the galaxy down except for his own two kids, he destroyed Leia's entire planet in front of her face.

Anakin ruined Vaders mystique and now everyone sees Vader as the whiny childish kid portrayed by Hayden Christiansen

By the way, you all suck for not including Khan.

Now before anyone calls me out, I accidentally left Vader and Emperor out. I was ordering my villains and set them to the side, and I submitted my list before I realized I forgot to put them back in. I didnt want to give Jeremy more work, so I didnt resubmit(i realized it a week later when I looked at my list again). But they both would be in my top 10

Kudos. I'm not the only one to have John Ryder on my list. He was a relentless sadistic badass.

He was. Rutger Hauer had a very creepy look about him in that movie

Thanks again, Knight!

Thank You Knight.

Thanks guys!

I'm going to think hard on what we can do for January.

I can't believe Cowley or Jay didn't make the list.

If I interpreted this as anything other than movie villains, I think my(and many others) list would be much different.

My list was mainly video game, book, and comic villains. I know I had Agent Ross from Red Dead Redemption on there, but don't have my exact list.

And thanks Knight!

I'm pretty sure real people weren't allowed.

I was joking about Joe and Jay, but I thought literary villains were allowed. They dominated my list.
